This Sunday, June 21

9:45 a.m.│Summer Hymn Sing
10 a.m.│Worship, Youth Commissioning for Caravan Trip to Yakima

Announcements

  • Summer Hymn Sing! Gather in the sanctuary at 9:45 a.m. on Sundays in July and August to sing your favorites from Glory to God and Hear the Prayers That Rise.
  • Caravan Begins! Sunday the High School Youth Group and Youth Director Doug Vitro leave for Yakima to work with native peoples of the Yakima Nation. They will return and help lead worship next Sunday. Please keep them in your prayers.
  • Need Help Hearing? Headsets and neck loops are available next to our sound system in the back of the sanctuary. The neck loop eliminates the need for a headset, but it does require a hearing aid that is capable of using a t-coil. Check with your audiologist to turn on the feature.  See Dave Chamberlain at the sound booth for more information.

  • Stewardship Update Have you had a chance to make your pledge to support the 2015-16 budget? Your pledge commitment helps the Session create the budget for the fiscal year that begins July 1. Every pledge helps!
  • New Small Group begins July 1st! Are you a fan of the slow food movement? If so, then Slow Church: Cultivating Community in the Patient Way of Jesus may be the book for you. Join Pastor Katie Pate and Youth Ministry Director Doug Vitro in the dining room at Bob’s Red Mill at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday evenings this summer to discuss the idea of Slow Church. Email the office or sign up in the Narthex to join. Books provided to the first 10 people who sign up.
  • Mark your calendars! The Annual Meeting of the Congregation will take place after Caravan worship on June 28. The following business items are on the agenda:
    + Electing church officers
+ Approving the pastor’s terms of call
+ Electing officers of the corporation
    + Accepting the Annual Report
Stay after the Annual Meeting for a delicious lunch prepared by the youth group - $10 for an individual, $15 per group of two or more. Funds raised will go toward Youth missions.
