Volunteers Needed - Sailing
People are still needed for key roles:
- Crash Boat Coordinator - desperately needed for Sunday mornings. Please help us fill this role or share it with a friend.
- Crash Boat Operators - for the Commodore's Sail Past this Saturday. Sign up

Payment for Club Night Dinners
For the Icebreaker Barbecue members were asked to preregister for the dinner and pay upon arrival. The club lost $600.00 due to members who didn't show up but had registered. Food for 40 people was wasted.
Anyone who registers for an event makes a commitment. In return, the Club commits to paying in advance for your meal.
To ensure that people honour this commitment, the Board has agreed to implement a prepayment system for Club Night meals. This will take some weeks. In the meantime, payment will be accepted at the door on the night of the event as usual. However, members who preregister and don't show up will be billed.
If you register for an event but can't make it, you have 3 days before the event to go on line and cancel your registration. If you have difficulties doing this, please contact the Rear Commodore at rearcommodore@gryc.ca
Do you have anything stored under the Clubhouse? Please remove by June 30th.
In an effort to tidy up and make all areas accessible for fire safety and structural repairs Windsurfers and rigging stored under the club house need to be claimed and removed by June 30. Any items not claimed will be disposed of. If you have questions or need further information please contact the Manager.
The BBQ's have been moved to a lower level of the deck for fire safety compliance.
