All QUAC Swimmers Win Medals at Utah Summer Games

A group of five QUAC swimmers traveled to Cedar City, June 11–13 to compete in the Utah Summer Games. Since Stockholm, site of this years IGLA, is so far away and few will be able to go, it was decided to support swimmers in closer and easier to get to venues. Not wanting to disappoint anyone after making the long trip, every single QUACer came home with a medal! Everyone had a good time and QUAC got a lot of publicity or notoriety depending on your viewpoint.

Matrons of Mayhem Host Bingo to Benefit QUAC June 19

QUAC is fortunate to be guests of the Matrons of Mayhem for this month's Third Friday Bingo, June 19 at Fabian Lakeside Pavilion, Sugarhouse Park, 1400 East 2100 South, at 7:00PM. It's summer and the church is too hot, so they have moved to the park.
It is a Bingo and Pot Luck Supper with the Matrons furnishing hot dogs, condiments and utensils. Guest are free to bring any side dishes or snacks they want to share, as well as any nonalcoholic (it's a park) drinks.
If you've been to Matrons' Bingo before, you know the routine. You will be participating in games, competitions and you will definitely be humiliated. It's lots of fun!
Thanks to the Matrons of Mayhem! We know we are your favorite group, and even if we aren't we're saying we are anyway.

QUAC Searching for Volunteers and Board of Directors Members

To keep an organization like QUAC coordinated and all its part humming along, it requires a lot of planning and communication. The team captains, coaches, board members and other volunteers put in many hours so that QUAC can compete, and so that we can have the best activities in Utah. To keep things fresh and to allow for maximum participation and less burn-out, QUAC is always looking to develop new leadership and new input from all its members.
If any of you have skills you would like to use to give back to your team, then we are looking to use you. We are specifically looking for members of the board, but we are open to using your talents in any way that you are wanting to give them. Just contact a team captain, coach, board member or officer.
