This past week Turning Point USA welcomed over 125 young female activists from across the country to Chicago, IL for the first-ever Young Women's Leadership Summit.

The girls received activism training, leadership training, and got to meet an incredible slate of guest speakers including Rachel Campos-Duffy, Foster Friess, Joe Walsh, Maida Korte, Elisha Krauss, Sarah Laszloffy, Heather Higgins, and many more.

It was a life-changing week. Look at what the girls had to say:

We concluded the week with a reception featuring Illinois State Rep. Avery Bourne and Illinois Lt. Governor Evelyn Sanguinetti.  The girls were inspired by these incredible female leaders.

Governor Sarah Palin noticed the efforts of Turning Point USA and featured the Summit in here Facebook post here.

Nothing like this has been done before.  In a few days we turned a group of passionate, dedicated, and like-minded activists into a team of grassroots warriors who will effectively and tirelessly fight against the left on college campuses everyday.

As one of our speakers said this past week -- "Everyone says our movement needs "boots on the ground," but what we really need is more high heels on the ground." I couldn't agree more.

It was an incredible Summit.  In a few weeks we will welcome a new group of students to Chicago for our Young Latino Leadership Summit.  Please stay tuned for more updates about that exciting event.

Best,

Charlie Kirk
Founder & Executive Director

P.S. - Thank you to the incredible team that made this event possible including Katherine Sodeika, Ellie Kraimer, J.R. O'Rourke, Paul Romanowski, and many others. The Young Women's Leadership Summit wouldn't happen without you!
