Car parking petition sent to Weymouth & Portland Borough Council

WPBC have acknowledged receipt of our online petition, which attracted well over 1,000 signatures. Our motion to WPBC is:

We urge WPBC to actively engage in consultation with all members of the community with a goal of putting into effect a parking policy in keeping with the wishes of the majority of locals and visitors to our town and not one purely set up to raise revenue for the Council.

Because the petition was signed by over 600 people, it will be debated at the full council meeting on Thursday 23 July.
