New Art Exchange presents Jangbar (2012/2015), a new film and sound installation by leading British artist Zarina Bhimji, filmed on 35mm in Kenya, is 26 minutes 37 seconds long and is installed as an immersive single screen, HD projection with surround sound. (more)

Places are limited so early booking is advised.
This event is about the practice of fundraising, encouraging philanthropy and generating investment, and has small visual arts organisations, collectives and projects, artists and individuals working in the visual arts as its target audience.
Amanda Rigali, Head of the Arts Fundraising and Philanthropy programme will be present as guest speaker, and contributions to a wider conversation about these subjects and their experiences will be made by representatives from Fermynwoods Contemporary Arts, Leicester Print Workshop, New Art Exchange, Nottingham Contemporary, and artist and film-maker Jeanie Finlay.
Cost: £10 for organisations, £5 for individuals.
Ticket price includes lunch and tea/coffee.

Gallery Director talks about Leicestershire's
newest exhibition space
This month, Tarpey Gallery in Castle Donington launches its new sculpture site set in beautiful gardens surrounded by trees and farmland. The new outdoor exhibition space will provide a permanent site for exhibiting and promoting three dimensional works throughout the spring, summer and autumn months. The inaugural exhibition will feature work by a selection of work by artists working in the Midlands region and from the estate of eminent sculptor Paul Mason.

Picture This - growing audiences for visual arts
