Dear Euroculture Students,
Ahoj! Welcome to Olomouc, a beautiful historical city which will become your home for a week during the Intensive Programme 2015 organised by the Department of History of Palacký University.
During this time you will be part of the Euroculture experience, immersed in a programme where the whole Euroculture family meets. Such events have been organised since 1999, just like the MA itself, which in itself may give you a sense of history and of the past.
And it is the past and its interpretation that will be the primary focus of our sessions and meetings. As Europe is grounded in the past, it is a challenge to understand and describe it, to interpret and use it and thus create history. As we embark in this year’s edition of the IP, we hope you will have a stimulating week of hard work and good fun.
