Showcasing the beauty of the human spirit - in mid air - around the world

.....

"Look out on life with amazement, not shock. The variety, the diversity, the manner of every person, the beauty amidst the drudgery, the contrasts, the opportunities, the heroism in the lives of ordinary people, your gifts, your talents, your friends – even just one friend – is all awesome. Live in awe, and entertain wonder, and you will be knocking on the door of true love. Don’t kill it with cynicism or criticism, don’t sabotage your life with moaning and complaining. Open the eyes in your head and the eye in your intellect and choose to see the stunning, awesome, diverse beauty of life happening around you right now. Meet it with your heart and you will enrich and be enriched in one single moment.” – Unknown

Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

The fundraiser is now live and accepting pledges!

I decided to go with Indiegogo instead of Kickstarter, let me know what you think of the campaign, leave me a message on the comment section.. then pledge and or share, share, share it around.

Every little bit helps and I am ever so grateful for your help in making this gigantic community public art mural come alive. I will of course be keeping you posted as things progress.

Here is the campaign link, in case you want to send it to friends :)

ERIN HARDER ...

Q: What makes you jump for joy?
A: Whenever I begin to think of how my entire life has completely changed in the past 3 years and I'm now pursuing my passion for the first time, I feel like I'm going to burst! Feeling so much gratitude makes me jump for joy.

Q. Your experience doing jumping photos?
A:
It was a blur of energy and jubilation. I felt a little self-conscious at first because I wanted my jumps to look "cool", but after I got past that, I just wanted to look crazier and crazier!

Q: What inspires you in life?

A: So many things! Spending time in solitude makes it easy to just be present in an environment and notice interesting elements that resonate. Reading books on philosophy has also pushed me to consider so many more possibilities than I would have ever imagined.

Q: Your greatest passion?
A: Fashion styling - I love diving into a concept and being free to create a visual that is limited only to the extent I can imagine it. I've also come to love the networking aspect of it; connecting with like-minded people, all driven by a passion towards the visual.

Q: Driving Force?
A:
Achievement, though what I'm trying to achieve often changes. I'm competitive by nature.

Q. Philosophy?
A: Show love to people and keep showing it, even if you end up hurt or rejected.

Q: Anything in the world?
A:
Fashion styling in Tokyo, and I'm definitely working on it! Tokyo is where I woke up to my passion as it is such a visually stunning place - I've been back to recharge the batteries eight times in the past eight years.

Q: Working on?
A:
I have a lot of fashion projects on the go, but due to publishing rules and deadlines, not much of my latest work is available for public consumption (yet!) But finished work is available for viewing at www.erinharder.com (come visit!)

Mini Bio:

I'm a famer's daughter from the prairies who grew up, went into business and became an accountant, and then moved to the coast and discovered that you are never too old to take steps towards your dream, no matter how irresponsible it may appear.
