As always, thanks for the Love and Support! Enjoy your weekend and be safe.

And for the Love of God, retire those tired American flag outfits.

WEDNESDAY

TONIGHT! Every Wednesday night the good people at
Have a trivia night. They ask you all types of of questions to see if you've been paying attention to pop culture for the past 5 years. If you and your company win, you get 50 bucks off of your total bill. So if you're looking for something fun and engaging to do after work, this is definitely worth it.

THURSDAY

Each and every Thursday its afterwork Thursday somewhere. But this Thursday our focus is here. The Afterwork Bubble  is the perfect place to come after a hard days work. The best part about this thursday is, theres no work Friday! That means happy hour will roll over into the next day. Not here though, happy hour ends at 8pm.
This Thursday House Party two is going down. You don't have to wear pajamas. I mean, if you're into that kind of thing, that's cool too. If you're looking for Thursday night plans, look no further. Come unwind with this 2 FOR 1 drink special and a great DJ line up.

FRIDAY

This has been a very artsy summer so far, but I think this one will be my favorite so far. The Pursuing false idols exhibit will feature art all based around the theme of "false idols" which is basically our people idolize get the wrong things and spending money on material things that don't even matter.
As an advocate for being cheap and spreading knowledge about what success really looks like I'm looking forward to going to this event.
To kick off the weekend, we have the SupaFlexx party. Drinking games, catered food, and even twister! Everyone who comes gets unlimited food and drinks until they run out. All of that for $13?! Can't go wrong with that. Jerk chicken and fish bowls for $13 is a steal. This event is set for yall to bring your own drinks and party favors. Honestly, I'm writing this considering pulling up for the festivities. shout out to H.O.F!

SATURDAY

I've never heard of anything like this, but these good people are literally throwing a 24 hour party to celebrate the 4th of July. The party starts Saturday morning at 4am and doesn't end until Sunday morning 4am. To make things even more interesting, this events address is only available to the people that RSVP. I don't know much more about it, but it sounds interesting to say the least.

What better way to spend your 4th of July than partying with the good people from Brunch Bounce? This time around, theres actually going to be food! You can get burgers and Hot dogs from right off the grill but only from 1pm-3pm so get there early! The tickets are still available, so I advise you to hurry up and get yours before Saturday cause you can't pay at the door. Tickets are only 20 bucks a pop so get on it!

My FCC homies are throwing a 4th of July shindig this Saturday as well. Good BBQ food and drinks for sale, including the FCC Glo Juice. If you're still looking for plans this is a great Saturday move.

My Brother Wordsmiff is hosting a Greek celebration this weekend in Brooklyn. It's the 10th annual New York Greek 4th of July celebration. If you're a Greek yourself, you might want to pull up. If not you're still invited, you just won't have as much fun. DJ Spynfo has a DJ set so you know the music is gonna be on point for the Strolls.
I love BBQ's in the hood just as much as the next inner city young adult, but the almost inevitable burst of violence is something I can live without. That's why I encourage all of you to come to "THE BBQ". It's a Backyard BBQ out in Brooklyn. Last year they had about 400+ attendees and this year it's looking even bigger. Your admission covers your food, so eat till your full. PLUS they're going to have the Square things so you can use your cards the whole night. No need to run to the ATM and pay those stupid Fees.
Personally, I'm interested in this event based off the flyer alone. Ain't that the 6th grade girl that tried to get a free meal out of Arnold and Gerald? Anyway, VH1s Sassy is hosting the NYCHI party at kinanm lounge in Brooklyn. Not too far from the Barclay center. There's a $3 grill menu (can't beat that) and $100 bottle specials (ehh..) none the less it's looking like a pretty good event. If you're interested, go ahead and RSVP ASAP!
SUNDAY
I realized, rooftops are the absolute best place places to party in this great city. Sky Room is throwing a rooftop party Sunday, and if you know anything about Sky Room, it's that their parties are always rockin. Fellas are free before 6, ladies free before 7 (mandatory RSVP)
