It's nice to be here again - thanks to each and every one of you for your continued support. I hope you've all had a lovely month! We've come past the shortest day of the year now, and apart from a few chilly moments, Brisbane has been lovely as always. These icy green leaves are a looking very wintery though! I hope the weather is treating you all kindly. Now, on with the news!

assist a sista

Thanks to everybody who purchased something from The Silver Forge last month. You've helped me to help Assist A Sista, a Gold Coast based group of community volunteers who work together to help survivors of domestic violence to rebuild and repair by bringing hope and restoring faith.

share the dignity

Because no woman should suffer the indignity of choosing between eating or buying sanitary products, Share The Dignity provide homeless and at-risk women across Australia with sanitary products to allow them a sense of dignity at a time when they need it most. moss agate and sterling silver ring

A gorgeous client had me create this moss agate ring for her partner, using a gemstone from my collection. It turned out to be even more divine than I imagined! I love working with such beautiful natural materials (and such nice people!)

recycling - fungi

Some of you will know I have a continual adoration of fungi - and Steve Axford does, too! Steve lives in northern New South Wales, Australia, and he takes mesmerising and stunning photographs of the most fabulous fungi (and other wonders, too!) His website is well worth browsing through. It's hard to believe some of these things naturally exist on our planet, and they are cleaning up, too! Truly fantastic.
