Nearing the end of Spring, ReKon Productions jumped onto a short film by Chelsea O’Connor. Susie Sunshine is about a utopian turned dystopian society in which the energy of the world is produced by three kinds of women.  ReKon Producer John Schrad was drawn to the project by the promising story concept and visually engaging storyboards, and was excited to see how the script and visual medium would come together.

The crew was just what every crew on a movie set should be: hard-working, professional, and devoted to the project. They all truly believe in the story, and were thus able to build a spectacular world within the micro-budget that the film quoted.With the promise of brilliant special effects to accompany the well-crafted and beautifully designed hand-built sets, ReKon waits on bated breath to see final cut.
