July 4th Celebration Information

Bring the entire family for a taste of good old-fashioned Americana! Our traditional salute to Independence Day includes pancakes for breakfast, a community parade, carnival rides, lots of food, fun, games, shopping, music and, of course, our fabulous fireworks finale.

Wednesday, July 1, 2015

  • 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm: Fun Time Shows Carnival Wristband Special (unlimited rides) $22

Thursday, July 2, 2015

  • 7:30 pm: Parkville Symphonic Band, Park University, Graham Tyler, Memorial Chapel

Saturday, July 4, 6:00 p.m. till midnight
South Platte Community Center, Park University and Park Hill South High School.

Parade

The annual Parkville July Fourth Celebration parade on Saturday, July 4 at 10:00 a.m. which begins at 63rd Street and Hwy 9 and ends in Historic Downtown Parkville. Parade line up will begin at 9:00 a.m. at 63rd Street and Bell Road.

Please note: Due to the fireworks and safety reasons the boat ramp and Platte Landing Park will be closed to the public on Saturday, July 4 starting at noon and will reopen Sunday, July 5.

Parkville Fireworks Ordinance Information

July 4th is almost here! Friendly reminder that per city code fireworks can only be purchased and/or discharged on private property from July 1st through July 5th from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. (or until Midnight on July 4th).

Celebrate July 4 with the Parkville Symphonic Band

The Parkville Symphonic Band will present a concert on July 4 at 7:30 p.m. to celebrate Independence Day.  The concert will be in the Graham Tyler Memorial Chapel on the Park University Campus in Parkville, Missouri.  Admittance is free.
