The 2015 Inner Guidance Handstand Challenge: Are you in? (and UP!)

 
                      The Handstand Challenge Is Back!
Starting today and running until the end of August, we are going to get fit and strong with a daily inversion!
 
Benefits:
All the blood rushes to our head meaning our brain works better! So we can think more clearly, become more intelligent, have better skin, and our beauty blossoms! What's not to like?
Add to this greater upper body and core strength, plus the fact that the body and organs LOVE to be upside down (think increased blood flow!) and the handstand becomes a great friend and has been in my life for a number of years!

On our social media today you will find a video showing you how to do a HALF-HANDSTAND, which anyone can do and is the perfect training for the full handstand. And if you did the challenge with me last year then you can go straight to the full handstand :) 

WE NEED YOU!
On our Facebook page (and other mediums of social media) we would LOVE for you to post your own daily pictures of you, your kids, your parents, your aunts and uncles, your dog (?!) and everyone in your life doing handstands!!

We had a wonderful response last year and we want to get even more people engaged this year with my favourite posture!
I find it helpful to have a group like this to keep you accountable when undertaking such a challenge, so come and join us x

2015 YogaThon
With two months of daily inversions ahead of us we are going to gain so much momentum towards this years YogaThon which is Saturday 29th August: if you are doing your daily handstand then 108 sun salutations are going to be easy! 
Who is up for the challenge? 
We are raising money for Tibet Relief Fund and Tibetans devastated by the earthquake in Nepal. And even if you cannot make the actual event perhaps you would like to sponsor our participants? More information to come about how you can do that, and do let us know if you are going to join us for the #handstandchallenge and/or the YogaThon!
