CAMS

Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service

From 1 July 2015 onwards, the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service is entering its operational phase continuing the services that were built as part of the series of MACC projects. ECMWF has been appointed by the EU to implement on its behalf the Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) as well as the Climate Service (C3S). As part of the transition, ECMWF has launched a new CAMS web site providing continued access to information, plots, and data. This MACCazine will be the last in its series, but we will be back with regular information about CAMS.

The Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) supports public and commercial entities that inform European citizens about the air quality now and for the next few days. Read more...
CAMS will be present at the 'Our Common Future under Climate Change' international scientific conference in Paris from 7 - 10 July 2015. We are organizing a side event to consider the ways in which new information services on atmospheric composition can contribute to our understanding of climate change and support decision-making on anthropogenic emissions. It is named 'Monitoring atmospheric composition in a changing climate: a pathway to informed actions' and will take place on 9 July. Read more...

Service Developments

During the transition from the series of MACC projects to the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service we are fully committed to ensure service continuity. Please let us know of any issues you might encounter and we will address these as soon as possible.
The old MACC web site will remain available to ensure access to project-related documents and information.
