TEAM NOTES
 Studio XX is thrilled to announce the appointment of Erandy Vergara as the new Programming Coordinator of Studio XX starting on September 1, 2015! Erandy is an independent curator whose research interests include contemporary and media art, feminism, global art histories, Latin American art, curatorial studies, postcolonialism and critical race studies. Her experience will enrich and power the programming at Studio XX. We look forward with anticipation to this next chapter.
We are also delighted to announce the three artists-in-residence for the 2015-2016 season:

Studio XX is saying goodbye to our longtime bookkeeper Mel Cuffey, who has been an integral part of the team for over six years. Mel guided us through some very challenging financial situations and we are in strong fiscal standing because of her work. She will be missed; the team and the board wish her all the very best as she continues her studies into the complexities of accounting.
The Studio ended the 2014-2015 season with last week’s launch of .dpi 32 Queer Networks and we will be closed from now until September 1st, 2015. Sincere thanks to the artists, curators, professors, partners, volunteers, committee members, HTMlles and .dpi teams, all of our members, our funders-- in short, to everyone who contributed to a stellar year at Studio XX! We wish you a inspiring and creative summer, and look forward to seeing you in the fall.

EIGHT NEW WORKSHOPS OFFERED IN FALL 2015 AND WINTER 2016
Studio XX is grateful for the continued support provided by Emploi-Quebec to establish a series of eight workshops. Our workshops are held in small intimate groups and our prices are competitive. Participants are invited to integrate their goals into the workshop as well as encouraged to share their own knowledge and expertise. Most of our workshops are bilingual, unless otherwise stated.
Please note that the Studio is closed from June 19 to September 1 2015, however you can register for workshops on-line and pay via PayPal.

CALL FOR PROPOSALS 2015/2016 STUDIOXX PROGRAMMING
Studio XX is seeking critical, creative digital arts submissions for our public events and/or training workshops.

To submit a proposal to Studio XX, send the application in a .zip or .pdf file (max. file size 5 MB) to programmation@studioxx.org, by midnight Sunday, August 16, 2015.
Please download and complete the application form and include the required documents.
Incomplete or late applications will be not be considered. All applicants will receive a confirmation of receipt. Selected participants will be notified by the Programming Committee in September 2015.

CONVOI PROJECT: LES POULPES
Pour le projet Convoi, Andrée-Anne Giguère, Elaine Juteau et Anick Marte, membres du collectif, partent en train à travers le Québec, les Maritimes et l’Ontario. Elles utilisent la gare comme un espace à investir le temps d’un arrêt, le temps d’une performance ou pour une nuit... À chaque arrêt possible, une action performative se déployant du train à la gare.
Tout au long du trajet le collectif interdisciplinaire s'allie à différents partenaires artistiques – centres d'artistes et organismes culturels- et leurs demandent de s’investir d’une mission à la gare : leur offrir un petit objet pour constituer peu à peu leur précieux convoi.
