Updates to World Calendar of Cookbook Events
Cookbook collage June may be a slow month for new books, but plenty of authors are still promoting recently-released books. Rick Bayless, Hugh Acheson, and Bryan Voltaggio are among the well-known authors that you can still catch in select cities.

New entries on the calendar include Susan Herrmann Loomis, touring in support of In a French Kitchen and Louella Hill, supporting Kitchen Creamery. The latter tour includes lots of cheese and yogurt making classes in addition to the usual author signings.  Also touring is Tracey Medeiros for The Connecticut Farm Table Cookbook. Jill Colonna fell in love with a Frenchman she met in her native Scotland and they moved to Paris together over 20 years ago. As a busy working mum, Jill began to make Parisian cakes and pastries as a hobby which she's turned into two cookbooks. She spoke with EYB about her latest book, Teatime in Paris! Acclaimed chef Gastón Acurio shares his life's passion through a new book, Peru: The Cookbook. Not only can EYB Members read an excerpt from the book's introduction, they can also watch two different videos about the book, including a flipbook that lets you peek inside.
