  • The Annual Meeting of the Congregation will take place after worship this Sunday. The following business items are on the agenda:
    + Electing church officers
+ Approving the pastor’s terms of call
+ Electing officers of the corporation
    + Accepting the Annual Report
Stay after the Annual Meeting for a delicious lunch prepared by the youth group - $10 for an individual, $15 per group of two or more. Funds raised will go toward Youth missions.
  • URGENT NOTICE! The end of MPC’s fiscal year is upon us…  This is the last pledge reminder notice that you will receive for pledges made last year to support MPC. Our fiscal year ends on Tuesday the 30th of June and we are shy over $11,000 in pledged amounts. In order to end the year in a strong financial position (which means we don’t have to rely on our contingency fund) we need your pledged amounts now.  It is also not too late to pledge for next fiscal year (July 1, 2015 – June 30, 2016) as pledges were not as robust as Session had hoped. Now is when we need you the most!  Thank you… Session appreciates your support.
  • New Small Group begins July 1st! Are you a fan of the slow food movement? If so, then Slow Church: Cultivating Community in the Patient Way of Jesus may be the book for you. Join Pastor Katie Pate and Youth Ministry Director Doug Vitro in the dining room at Bob’s Red Mill at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday evenings this summer to discuss the idea of Slow Church. Email the office or sign up in the Narthex to join. Books provided to the first 10 people who sign up.
  • Sing One Sunday July 5, 9 a.m. Join us for a one-morning informal choral gathering! Anyone interested in singing can meet in the sanctuary at 9 a.m. to learn a short 4-part choral offering to sing in that morning's service!
  • Offering envelopes will available in the Narthex on Sunday for those who requested them. Thank you so much for your pledge!
