Patch 7: Total War Account

You will have to migrate your SEGA Account

With today's update we're switching over to the new Total War Account, which will replace your SEGA Account. This means that all existing players will have to migrate their accounts to Total War Accounts.

This migration will only affect Total War: ARENA. Any accounts in other SEGA or Total War games will not be affected.

Total War Account is what Total War Battles: Kingdom already uses, and which is intended to be used more widely in the Total War Universe in the future (such as forum login, account management, and so on).

How to Migrate

It's easy!

For most users, migration will happen inside the game launcher and is completed in a few steps. Only those players who've played Total War Battles: Kingdom before will have to migrate on a website (see link below).

If you login to the game and your account looks like it's been reset, you haven't migrated yet, but you already have a Total War Account. Please visit the migration website to transfer your game progress. Click on the button below:

Migrating in the Launcher

In the game launcher, simply login using your SEGA Account details.

The launcher will tell you to migrate your account in a form on the right-hand side. Enter your SEGA Account login details, accept the terms & conditions and click on "submit". If you want to use different login details for Total War Account, you can do that, too.

Your Total War Account has been created. You now need to verify your email address. Go to your email client and wait for the verification email (this could take up to 15 minutes to arrive).

Click on the email verification link.

Once your email has been verified, go back to the game launcher and click on "submit".

Your account has been migrated.
