Annapurna everything!
3 fun races coming up over the next six-months in the famous Annapurna region...
The Annapurna region was to the west of the earthquake-affected part of Nepal. It is about to be given a green light for visiting by the seismic safety organisation after the earthquake and is good to go.
It's not yet public, but a sneak preview of the summary seen by TRN says: "98 percent of buildings can be given a green-tag [as] per ... guidelines. Overall there is very little structural damage in the Annapurna region. Buildings damaged can be repaired relatively easily. Bridges assessed had no structural earthquake damage."
It's a great place to run and here are some options.
- 9 Stages: Annapurna Trail Race
- Trail Ultra: Annapurna 100
- A running festival!: Annapurna 3-races
