Making new homes possible

We’re continuing to invest in new homes for future generations. Curo built 244 brand new homes over the past year, helping to tackle the huge housing supply problem we face in the West of England. Our newest homes are at Clover Court in Knowle West where last week local school children showed off the prize-winning artwork they created for the scheme. Find out about some of our other developments in the pipeline.

Mulberry Park plans take shape

In May we held a public exhibition showing proposals for the first phase of the development at Mulberry Park in Bath. Curo’s vision is to create a distinctive, contemporary development of high quality housing, community facilities and open spaces – a great place to live with views across the city. Wellbeing House opens its doors in Bath

A new service for people experiencing mental and emotional distress has opened in Bath. The Wellbeing House, run by Curo in partnership with Sirona care & health, provides a place of sanctuary where people can receive support to avoid a crisis. Earlier this year Curo picked up a national award at the 2015 UK Housing Awards for our innovative Missed Opportunity training initiative which is tackling domestic abuse. Hot on the heels, Curo’s Gas Team won South West Contractor of the Year at the Gas Safety Awards, backed by gas safety body CORGI.

In June over 160 Curo colleagues took part in National Volunteering Week and the two-week-long Community Challenge. Colleagues from every part of the business rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in to community projects across Bath, Keynsham, Bristol and the Somer Valley. Read more.
