Patients that arrived for their appointments on May 18^th were the first to receive care at the brand new Allina Health Champlin Clinic located at 11269 Jefferson Highway. The 25,596 square foot building furnishes more space for primary care providers than its 34 year old predecessor, and allows for much needed upgrades. It comes equipped with all the bells and whistles a new Class A medical facility could hope for, including upgraded security systems and key card access points, state-of-the-art heating and air conditioning systems, a new purchasing system, and better workflows to improve efficiency and patient care. It currently provides an array of healthcare services: Primary Care, Optometry, Urgent Care, OB/Gyn, and Courage Kenny Rehabilitation, and has plans to add Mental Health later this year.
                  Although the building is in use and fully functioning, there is still some ongoing construction at the site. Removal of the old building and its materials started in June, and parking lot resurfacing/construction will follow. The building sits on 3 acres, which will provide ample parking and a great new patient drop off area, slated to be finished in the fall of 2015.
                  MSP Commercial collaborated with Allina Health, BDH & Young, and RJM Construction on this project that began in June of 2014. Allina Health Champlin Clinic Manager Linette Jacobson worked on the project and stated, “We really enjoyed working with MSP and now have a new partner going forward. Our project stayed on schedule and we now have a very beautiful facility that is being enjoyed by all! We have had very nice comments from patients and staff.”
