Rev. Charles Swadley
"Just When I Thought I Had All the Answers, Somebody Changed the Questions."
The Rev. Charles Swadley believes that changing times demand new questions to find better answers to challenging life and institutional matters. For Rev. Swadley, this entails revisiting old stories and seeing new visions of meaning and application.
Share the Plate for July 12
The Share the Plate collection for Sunday, July 12, will be donated to the Williamsburg and Newport News Brain Injury Survivors Support Groups.
These non-profit groups offer discussions, socialization, support, information, friendship and encouragement to people who have sustained brain injuries from trauma, stroke, aneurysm, tumor or other neurological event. One group meeting is held monthly in each city. Family, friends and other concerned people in the lives of those living with a brain injury are welcome to attend. WUU member Sara Lewis is the groups founder and is herself a survivor. (https://www.facebook.com/williamsburgandnewportnewsbraininjurysupport group) We welcome this agency to our Share the Plate outreach program. Thank you for your continuing generous contributions!
