POST-COTA BBQ & PIE BAKING CONTEST FUNDRAISER:
This Sunday, July 12th
Put on your apron and whip out your grandma's secret blue-ribbon recipe, because it's pie time!
At this COTA BBQ on July 12th, we're going to add some good old-fashioned church picnic fun with a pie baking contest!
Pie: Anyone is welcome to bring a pie (or other dessert). We will provide cards to fill out for pie title and allergy info. Anyone who brings a non-gluten dessert earns some jewels for their heavenly crown. Bring pies downstairs to the kitchen on July 12th.
How: Tasting is a suggested 5$* donation with one vote, and you can purchase additional votes. Then vote early and vote often for your favorites!! Most-voted pie receives a fabulous prize. Will your recipe earn you the acclaim of your community and bragging rights? *We will try to have the square working but cash is easy. Sliding scale.
Why: This is a fundraiser for COTA's support of denominational ordination! This annually costs our church a bit of money, and the fundraiser is to help supplement the general budget. All $ raised goes to COTA, and our goal is $250. Thank you for your generous support!
Main dish provided for the BBQ - still need your drinks and sides!
