Harvest Moon Festival

Our annual festival is scheduled for Saturday, September 12th from 2-8pm in Maple Leaf Park.

Again, this year's festival will feature cultural performances, children's activities, and a community BBQ. See you then!
The Harvest Moon Festival is looking for volunteers to help out with the event. We're calling out to our amazing community members.

Here's a small list of things we need help with:

- BBQ
- Advertising
- Kids Area/ Crafts
- Evaluations
- Performer Lineups
- Donations / Business Outreach
- General tasks on the event day
- After party

Please email us at harvestmoon.yqr@gmail.com or call (306) 757-9952 if you're interested in volunteering.

PotashCorp REACH In The Parks

Our summer lunch program, done in partnership with REACH, started up again on July 6th.

For the entire summer our kitchen will be busy making fresh and healthy lunches for children attending programming through several community partners.

Visit our website for more information.
HCA is proud to be a funded partner of the United Way.

HCA Welcomes Taylor Apperley!

Taylor has called Regina home for all her life. She has studied sociology at University of Regina and will be entering the secondary education program this fall. Some of her favorite things include puppies, lattes, and the oxford comma.

We're pleased to have Taylor as our summer student. Over the next few months she will be organizing the Harvest Moon Festival, reaching out to businesses, helping with programs, and other tasks around the community. Feel free to stop in and say hello!

Maple Leaf Park & Pool

Now that the weather is nice and hot, make sure to check out the new playground we installed last fall at Maple Leaf Park!

For over four years the community has worked hard to raise money to replace the play structures at both Core and Maple Leaf Park.

The ever-popular Maple Leaf Pool opened its doors at the end of June. Regular open swim times are every day from 12-8pm.

Annual General Meeting

A huge thank you to all of the community members who came out to our AGM in June! We appreciate all of your feedback and we look forward to stregthening our relationship with our members in the future.
