July classes available - book your spot! Plus summer retreats and DVDs

I've looked closely at my calendar, and found that I am in town for a day here and there in July where I can offer classes. It turns out that we can have classes 'almost' weekly. 

As mentioned previously, the classes will be charged as semi-privates. So let me know if and when you are available on the following days, and which class you would be interested in, and I'll organize a group of people to share in the cost of the class. 

On each day, there can be a Flow class, a Restorative class and an Ashtanga class, depending on interest.

Here are the dates:

Sunday, July 12 - any time (5pm booked and 7pm booked)
Sunday, July 19 - any time
Friday, July 24 - any time (7:15pm booked)
Wednesday, July 29 - any time

Contact us if you are interested in joining in, and please indicate what type of class you would be interested in, which day(s), and what time of day you would be available (morning, afternoon, evening).

Join us on beautiful Wolfe Island at Shanti Retreat Centre for a mid-summer, mid-week retreat! Indulge in gentle and restorative yoga,
meditation and pranayama, in a place just far enough away from it all to feel you've escaped and found time to devote to just you.

Come on Monday, and stay for 2 or 3 nights. Enjoy lovingly-prepared vegetarian meals each day, the charming century inn and waterside cabin accommodations, and the stunning views of the St. Lawrence and extensive gardens on this waterfront property. We will be offering organized activities and classes, including Flow and Gentle Hatha Yoga classes, meditation and pranayama (breath) workshops, a yoga philosophy talk, and small-group personalized restorative yoga classes. In addition, we invite you to go for an infrared sauna, a dip in the bay, bounce on the water trampoline, or go for a paddle in one of the canoes or kayaks. You can also choose to simply relax, either in a hammock, under the Balinese hut, or anywhere in this secluded paradise. 

Our all-inclusive price includes all meals, accommodation, classes and workshops. No prior yoga experience is necessary, and all activities are optional so you can choose how best to pamper yourself here amid the beauty and serenity of Wolfe Island.

This summer we will not be offering our regular class schedule for the months of July and August so that our family can move, and so that we can relocate Yoga Grove to a separate studio space (close by we promise!) in September. However, we will be offering semi-private classes throughout the summer instead.

We sincerely apologize for the disruption this may cause for your yoga practice, and appreciate your understanding and support as we make this transition.

We hope to see you all in the fall as we launch Yoga Grove's new studio space!
This month we will be creating DVDs of Leslie teaching her most popular yoga classes, so that you can have something to take with you over the summer to inspire you to continue your yoga practice.

We'll have a sample Flow class DVD, an Ashtanga DVD, and a Restorative yoga DVD.

We also hope to create some podcasts of led meditations if you are interested in exploring meditation over the summer months as well.

If you are interested in any of this material, send us a quick note so that we can gauge the amount of interest there might be.
If this month doesn't work for you, don't fret - we have another retreat lined up designed to relax and restore you to balance.
