UPCOMING SUPPLIER TRAINING EVENTS

State Purchasing will be conducting a series of webinars to update suppliers on its FY2016 policy changes that will be effective July 1. Please ensure that you register in order to get information on these changes. In addition, we are also providing you with information on additional training opportunities.

Responding in eSource - State Purchasing Policy Changes on July 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM EDT: This webinar will focus on FY2016 policy changes for supplier responding in eSource. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
Responding in Team Georgia Marketplace - State Purchasing Policy Changes on July 7, 2015 at 2:00 PM EDT: This webinar will focus on FY2016 policy changes for suppliers responding in Team Georgia Marketplace. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
Responding to Bids in Team Georgia Marketplace and eSource: During this session, Suppliers are shown the steps to respond to bids in Team Georgia Marketplace and eSource. They will learn how to search the Georgia Procurement Registry for open and awarded solicitations, and download and attach required documents. They will also be shown important things to remember as they navigate through the state’s procurement process. If information is needed about specific events, Suppliers are encouraged to contact the associated Buyer for said solicitation. Supplier Orientation Sessions
These sessions feature information on how to register your company to do business with the state and establish your eligibility to receive bid notices. General information will be given about the purchasing process and the various kinds of purchases that are made by government entities. The sessions are held from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Veterans Memorial (Sloppy Floyd Twin Towers) Building, 200 Piedmont Avenue SE, Suite 1816 in the West Tower. The Twin Towers are directly across from the State Capitol. There is no charge for the sessions. Upcoming dates are: July 15, August 12, September 9, October 7, November 4, and December 2.
