It's a Labor of Love!
Join the WV AFL-CIO for a Dinner Forum at The HUB in Martinsburg!
WV AFL-CIO President Kenny Perdue, Delegate Stephen Skinner, and City Councilman & Eastern Panhandle CLC President Ken Collinson need your help as they begin to shape a coalition of labor partners concerned about issues affecting West Virginia workers and their families. Topics for discussion include Right to Work, Prevailing Wage, Paycheck Deception, and Working Wages.
Our current Legislature through its Republican leadership worked overtime in 2015 in order to levy pay cuts to working men and women throughout the state, as well as to strip workers of safety and benefits protections. Now is the time to join an Allied Member Partnership (AMP) as the hardworking people of the Mountain State are ready to fight back against wage disparity and the 1% agenda.
The event will be hosted at The HUB in Martinsburg, West Virginia, at 126 East Burke Street this Wednesday, July 8, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Dinner includes a fully stocked hot dog bar, all American Apple Pie, and Hot Damn Donuts from the McFarland House.
Join us on Wednesday and help us take West Virginia back from Wall Street's 1% and return it to the hard working men and women that make the Mountain State a great place to live and to work.
Hope to see you there!
