Don't miss the first-ever National Poetry Festival!

This festival offers a multi-lingual, multi-cultural, multi-generational platform for poets and poetry enthusiasts in the appreciation of the art of poetry in Singapore.

Highlights include lectures, workshops, a symposium and readings by both established and emerging poets.

Understanding rights and contracts

How can you manage the contractual relationship between you and the publisher? What do the terms in a publishing contract mean?

This 3-hour course, specially designed for writers and illustrators, will provide you with all the answers. You will also learn whether your works are copyright-protected, and how you can obtain the necessary copyright clearances for them.

Scholastic Asian Book Award 2016

The Scholastic Asian Book Award (SABA) is a joint initiative between The Book Council and Scholastic Asia to promote Asian experiences and expression in creative and innovative forms.

This award recognises writers of Asian origin whose manuscripts have the potential to share uniquely Asian experiences of life, spirit, and thinking with the rest of the world.
