Back From Brazil!
We have just returned from our 17th mission trip to Belo Horizonte, Brazil! During our time there, we teamed up with a few local ministries to bring the gospel to the streets through worship, preaching, dramas, and praying with the people who stopped by. On the streets we saw God exert His power as many people gave their lives to the Lord. With the men in the rehab and the women in the brothels, we saw God pour out His loving kindness to refresh and soften many hard, wounded hearts. It was a memorable trip. Please read below to see a few highlights and testimonies. We encourage you to begin praying now about coming with us next year! This trip will give you great experience in missions and help you understand God's heart for the entire globe!

Highlights From Brazil
- Fruit that remains: Tio Pedro (the YWAM leader) shared how a young man who was saved at San Tome through Street LIFE Ministries in 2002 is now a pastor in San Paulo and recently did a mission trip to Haiti with him.
- At Plaza 7 we were prophetically singing and calling out backsliders to come back to God. After the song a former worship pastor who was now a drug dealer recovering from a stabbing and gunshot wound asked us to speak with him and he ended up giving his life back to Jesus!

That's when he began asking God for help and, even though he did not know the Lord personally, he began to experience victory over drugs. Read More

The "Red Light District" of Belo Horizonte is a neighborhood populated with brothels, porn theaters, and lost souls… it's the perfect place to do ministry! We went there several times on this trip, each time bringing worship, the Word, and the presence of God. Our first night in the Red Light District, during our second or third worship set, a man who was either going to or coming from a brothel was drawn by the music and stopped to see what was going on.
