Time for a little news and some updates regarding our 45-year reunion in Riverside the weekend of October 9-11.
Have you sent in your reservation form yet?
Although a number of people have said they won't be attending any of the reunion activities this year, just as many have written to tell me they will be attending at least one thing that weekend. However, good intentions aren't sufficient when it comes to attending - you actually need to send in a reservation form, either by US Mail or electronically.
While I use clichés like "there's no time like today" to do this, I actually have a partial payment to Canyon Crest Country Club due on August 11, so it would really help if you got your reservation and payment to me as soon as possible:
- By mail - download the invitation letter, print out the reservation form on the second page, complete it and mail to me with your payment
- Online - go to the Buy Tickets Online section of the reunion page and
- purchase tickets under "Tickets and Stuff" using your credit card and
- fill out the online reservation form
Not attending any reunion events?
Even if you're not attending, you can still respond and make it a memorable event for everyone. We're putting together a Bio/Address Book for distribution at the reunion and an electronic photo album after the reunion. Both are included in the price of the Saturday night main reunion event, and can be purchased separately for $5 if you're not attending. Even if you don't want this CD, please consider doing this:
- Complete the top half of the reservation form with address/bio information (or do it electronically), using the links above, and
- E-mail me a recent photo of yourself (2 to 3 MP). I'll crop and edit it for inclusion in the photo album
All of this information will be included in the Bio/Address Book and on the CD. I haven't received any pictures yet from those who aren't attending, but it's not too late. Please do this so folks will know you're still alive!
Do you want to play golf on Saturday?
