Hello, this is my first newsletter as the new co-ordinator of the CSA Network and I am very pleased to report that we've got lots of other new stuff going on too, as detailed below. Don't forget to get in touch if there is anything we can help with. Thanks Maresa
NEW CSA NETWORK BOARD MEMBERS!
Thanks very much to everyone who came along to our national gathering and AGM at Canalside Community Food. We had a great day in the sunshine including a tour of the farm, workshops, as well as our annual general meeting. We also had a discussion about what our members need from the network and there seemed to be strong demand for one-to-one mentoring from both new and existing CSAs. We are also very pleased to welcome two new directors to our board, Charlotte Barry from Camel CSA, and Rich Gorman, from Cardiff University. Also thanks very much to Cambridge Cropshare for the lovely photo.
NEW FUNDING!
Just Growth is a new funding programme designed to encourage the growth of community based food and farming projects. Up to 8 projects will receive a funding package made up of one third loan financing from Community and Co-operative Finance (CCF) and one third grant funding from Esmee Fairbairn. The remaining third of the funding has to be raised by the project itself from its local community either through crowdfunding or community shares. To find out more about how to apply visit http://www.feanetwork.org/our-projects/just-growth

NEW PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS!
We've just produced a new postcard to promote Community Supported Agriculture and the CSA Network UK. It would be really great if you could help us to distribute them, e.g. by giving them out to CSA members in veg boxes, and at open days or other events. Please get in touch if you'd like some  and we'll send them in the post, e-mail csanetwork@gmail.com
