Speak Out Team Starts Social Media Initiative

This summer our Speak Out team, a group of teens from across the county, is rolling out a special campaign on all JTNN social media outlets. This campaign focuses on the Speak Out youth creating and managing social media content that targets substance abuse prevention.

Each week will spotlight a different theme, such as marijuana, heroin, alcohol, etc. Team members will provide their own thoughts on a current event in the news or pop culture that has to do with that week’s topic.

The Speak Out team’s goal for this campaign is to reach other teens and educate them on drug awareness and prevention in a way that is relatable.

Follow us on these social media outlets to check out the campaign!

JTNN Educates Parents at Safety Expo

On June 25, JTNN participated in Reno’s Regional Safety and Emergency Preparedness Expo in Wingfield Park. Over 60 people toured our “Super Parents Supervise” mobile, mock-bedroom and learned about the numerous legal highs, drug paraphernalia and stash containers in which teens can hide drugs and alcohol.

This educational program is available to anyone, upon request, and can be set up at events, offices, etc.

Call 775.324.7557 for more information and to reserve your date.
