Volunteer this August 13th-19th for the Back-to-School Basket of Miracles

This back-to-school season, sign up to help Miracles for Kids assemble and deliver backpacks filled with school supplies, educational toys, and healthy snacks to ease the financial burden and spread joy to hundreds of critically-ill children, their siblings, and parents/caregivers in need.

The Miracle of Luna Esquival

Born April 27, 2012 - Diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL)
At just two and one half years old, Luna was diagnosed with ALL, a type of cancer in which the bone marrow makes too many immature lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell, leading to infection, anemia, and easy bleeding. Currently, Luna is an outpatient at CHOC Children’s (CHOC) for her daily chemotherapy and other treatments. When not in treatment, Luna loves being with her parents and playing hide-and-go-seek together. She also enjoys drawing, building with Legos, and doing puzzles.

Golf for Miracles
On August 10th, the Huntington Beach Police Officers’ Foundation will host its 9th Annual Constable Classic Charity Golf Tournament at the Seacliff Country Club in Huntington Beach, CA. This year, the foundation has chosen Miracles for Kids as its charitable beneficiary!

Festival of Children Volunteers Needed
Join Miracles for Kids at the 14th Annual Festival of Children at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, CA. Volunteer to represent the organization at the Miracles for Kids booth the first two weekends in September.

Call for Auction Items
Miracles for Kids is actively looking for in-kind donations in the areas of Dining & Getaways, Fine Wines & Spirits, Sports & Entertainment, and Spa, Beauty & Novelty. If you have access to these items, please consider making an in-kind donation to help raise funds for Miracles for Kids' programs.

Nonprofit Partner Spotlight: Bracken's Kitchen

Thanks to Bill Bracken and his team at Bracken's Kitchen - their big red food truck, Betsy is serving up tasty and nutritious lunches to all the critically-ill children, their siblings, and volunteers participating in this year's Miracles for Kids Surf & Paddle Summer Camps. Miracles for Kids is honored to work with Bracken's Kitchen and is grateful for all they do!
