State Plans Public Meetings on Vocational Rehabilitation and Supported Employment Services
The New York State Office of Adult Career and Continuing Education Services- Vocational Rehabilitation (ACCES-VR), with the State Rehabilitation Council, is developing the State Plan for Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) and Supported Employment (SE) Services beginning July 1, 2016.  To assist in the development of the State Plan, individuals with disabilities, their families, advocates, employers and service providers are invited to attend the public meetings to provide comments on the provision of vocational rehabilitation services. Basic Interpreter Training Program
Deaf Access Services introduces its NEW Basic Interpreter Training Program (BITP). The program will allow students to further their American Sign Language Training by becoming a Sign Language Interpreter. Learn more at Basic Interpreter Training Program.

Family Driven Planning
Be Part of an Exciting NEW Project! Hillside Family of Agencies & School of Social Work and University at Buffalo are doing a study of Family Driven Planning to better understand its ability to increase individuals’ quality of life through increased support networks.
