Our member Andreas has organized an amazing vegan art and music festival called the Art of Survival. I strongly recommend that you check this out because it is so unique and deserving of success.
"A community gathering of conscious, (or semi-conscious,) like-minded artists, environmentalists, expert environmental, health, and food speakers, foodies, plant-based food innovators, health nuts, musicians, performance artists, vegans, vegetarians, and the vegan/vegetarian curious getting together to network, have fun and learn"
Learn more about it on Facebook.

Back in April, Lighter's Christine Dolendo gave us a great presentation about the technology behind lighterculture.com's meal planning and fulfillment service. Now they're hiring more engineers!
Lighter is looking for mid-to-senior engineers. They're currently running Rails on Heroku, and they're willing to bring experienced developers up to speed if this isn't their usual stack. This is a great opportunity to have an impact on a growing vegan company. You can contact Lighter's founder, Alexis, at alexis@lighterculture.com.

Check out DxE's weekly meetup Saturday morning.
"Every Saturday at 10 am, local animal rights supporters gather to enjoy great food and company, discuss recent events, and empower and train one another to be the best activists we can be. Whether you’ve just learned about factory farming, or are a 20 year veteran activist… a computer programmer who wants to design iPhone apps for animals, or an aspiring orator with a megaphone… the DxE Meetup is for you!"
