My Tip for this month - Having a good, basic, knowledge on understanding how to read financial statements, knowing what your Accountant needs and why, can help business owners understand the business so much better. It allows a level of understanding which adds to your level of expertise in your business. This in turn helps when you are connecting with other business owners, as it shows you are not just selling your “wares” but also an expert on your business as a whole.
Our next Focus Group Breakfast, on 27th July is Understanding Financials.

New Networking with Confidence Workshop
A new “ Networking with Confidence” workshop is coming up on 14th August.
This is a day to really focus on your business, your job and how you present it, when out and about at networking functions, or just speaking to potential clients.
Many employers find this workshop very beneficial to their employees and include in their training schedules.
I am also seeking interest from those who may find a Saturday, one day “Networking with Confidence” workshop more suitable for them, their family and their business. I will accommodate as necessary, as I know how important it is for many to keep themselves on track with their networking. Discovering Free Publicity
 Wow what a successful event! Thank you to my friend and colleague, Kate Engler, The Publicity Princess, for sharing her formula for creating a great press release, to get free publicity (another form of networking) with my guests. Kate brought a wealth of information around PR. It was wonderful to see so many contacts, who had previously attended my workshop, put their networking knowledge into practice.
Next Generation Coming Through 
My next working lunch will be held on the 10th August and it will be themed “The Next Generation Coming Through”. This is one event you won't want to miss.
Our amazing guest speakers are Sharon Davey, author of “Awesome Careers for Gen Y" and Noni Croft, Motivational Speaker and Personal Trainer.
 I am encouraging business owners to share their thoughts, on what they see the next generation of
entrepreneurs bringing into the business world. How we can help them and most importantly how they can help us. This will be a huge think tank and will bring many “ah ha“ moments to us all I’m sure.
