HUD has published Guidance for CDBG Grantees: Transition from First-In, First-Out to Grant-Specific Accounting in IDIS. This guidance explains how the Integrated Disbursement and Information System (IDIS) funding and drawdowns functions have been modified to implement the transition from first-in-first-out (FIFO) to grant-specific accounting, and identifies the impact that the change in accounting practices will have for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) grantees. Effects of the change on program income and other IDIS components are also discussed, along with the new Local Account receipt fund.
