College Students! Come Tubing This Sunday!

Join us on July 19 at 2 p.m. for a day of tubing on the New River. Sunshine, cool water, and fellowshipping with students and friends is sure to make for a fun afternoon. Bring a bathing suit, a tube if you have one (not required), sunscreen, a friend, and a bag of chips or side. We'll provide the burgers and hot dogs as well as rides up and down the river.

Thank You For Making MOVE Possible!

You've seen and heard a lot about MOVE Summer Kids' Camp in recent months and it has finally arrived. The Northstar Kids' Ministry Team would like to say thank you to everyone who made MOVE possible this week! It took a lot of volunteers giving of their time, energy, and finances to help our summer kids' camp come together and it would not have happened without each and every one of you! We had 85 kids total this week and an awesome time was had by all!

International Furniture Giveaway
The BCM is now accepting donations of furniture for the upcoming International Furniture Giveaway on August 15. This is a great opportunity to support incoming international students. Desks, tables, and bookshelves have proven to be popular items in past years.

Steppin' Out!
We are looking for volunteers to hang out at the Northstar booth at Blacksburg's annual town festival on August 7-8. This is a great opportunity for us to reach out to our community and meet new friends. Be sure to sign up this Sunday!

The Women's Summer Bible Study!

Our Womens' Summer Study will continue on Tuesday after a week hiatus due to MOVE Summer Kids' Camp. We will resume our study of the Fruits of the Spirit on Tuesday, July 21 at 10 a.m. Remember that each lesson is a stand alone, so feel free to join us any time! You only need to bring your Bible. Childcare will be provided upon request.
