Welcome to Term 3
It looks like we begin with wet and cold, so it can only get better from here! We trust you have had a blessed time with your children over the last two weeks.
 We are excited to announce that our uniforms are now ready. Styles have been chosen for their durable easy care fabrics, affordability, and practicality, while reflecting contemporary uniform tends. We hope students enjoy wearing their Carey College uniforms with pride.
 Uniforms will be phased in this term, (students may wear some or all of the uniform or continue to wear school dress code during this term). By Term 4 we expect all students to be in full uniform, and from 2016 all students will be required to comply with school uniform regulations as a condition of enrolment.)

During the two week break we have been working hard with our suppliers to install a UFB Fibre connection for our internet. It's installed and working. Over the next two weeks, we expect to progressively connect our computers, Chromebooks and tablets. The result of installing this leading-edge technology should be a much more reliable and much faster connection, supporting programmes across the curriculum. We have also now been able to replace our aged server, with all our records now being cloud-based.
Last term Year 7-10 students' art course saw them complete relief sculptures in the pattern of traditional Cameos, using papier mache. This term they move on to a painting module where the emphasis will be on rendering light and colour.
