Drink

Rooftop beehives are reason enough for the Fairmont Olympic Hotel to team with the Seattle Cider Company to produce the new Honey Hard Cider. You can buy a bottle at the hotel’s Terrace Lounge and Shuckers, or enjoy it by the glass at The Georgian restaurant – perhaps as part of an August Extraction Menu dinner featuring honey in each course.

Seattle is for the birds. So says the Seattle Audubon Society, which hosts ongoing field trips and walks in the city and beyond. Register in advance for upcoming birding activities in such places as Discovery Park, Mercer Island, and Grays Harbor.
