$1 MillIon Dollar Challenge to Build Big Marsh!

A generous donor has challenged Friends of Big Marsh to raise $500,000 to build the city's first eco-recreation park, down on the Southeast Side.

If we meet that challenge, the donor will write a $1 million dollar check for the park, TRIPLING our $500,000 to $1.5 million.

A $50 gift is multiplied to $150. A $5000 gift becomes $15,000. And we open this park in Spring 2016.

What's the donor's interest?

"I need SOMEWHERE in Chicago where I can go with my bike and feel like I'm outside!"

Exclusive Big Marsh Ts by Chicago artists! That's why we're ALL in this—Urbs in Horto, the City in the Garden; to take these 278 acres of abused land and turn it into beautiful, exciting, and sustainable open space for all of us, everyone, right here in the City of Chicago.

Learn more about the park and donate today at http://bigmarsh.org/build. We believe there's at LEAST $100,000 we can raise through this campaign—it's a HUGE step towards our $500,000 goal, and a massive opportunity for you to help us get there.

We've got GREAT PERKS and a cause that's going to do so many good things out on Chicago's last frontier, the parks of the Calumet region.
