Dear fellow Canadian Baptists,

This is an exciting summer for many of the churches in our family. There are mission trips, Vacation Bible Schools, outreaches, church picnics and so many more things going on. Camp Kwasind is in full steam, with new campers arriving every week, ready to experience God's creation and goodness. It is a season to sow the love of God in our neighbourhoods and beyond.

Here are just a few of the highlights of summer ministry. (And remember, if your church has a story to share, you can do so by emailing communications@baptist.ca. We may not be able to publish everything, but we'll certainly try!)

NEW LIFE IN LAKE HURON

Each summer the congregation of Mississauga City Baptist Church makes its way out of the city for a four day camping retreat. This year's trip had an amazing addition - 13 baptisms! READ MORE

The Leadership and Pastoral Training Program (formerly “Lay Pastors’ Training Program”) begins its fall term soon.  The application deadline is August 15.  New sites are being considered for this program! Please check their website at laypastor.ca.
