Spring is in the air!

Even though it feels like we are still in the middle of winter in Cape Town, spring is in the air and summer bulbs are flowering. On taking a drive up the west coast, we were lucky enough to spot some Tritonia and Babiana species starting to flower. There is no better place than the Cape's west coast to see the splendid flora of the Cape in its natural habitat. With a number of private reserves and National Parks as well as flower shows in the area, the Western Cape is definitely worthwhile a visit in August or September if you are able to.

We are constantly working on the design and feel of our website to give the best possible shopping experience; if you do have any feedback please don't hold back. We also have Android and iPhone apps which can be downloaded from the links further down in the newsletter. Once you have enabled push notifications we will be communicating weekly specials and new product info via the app's from the end of August.

Please keep in mind that we offer free shipping for seed orders over R500. South African orders are ONLY shipped via courier and not by the post office.  As much as we would like to, we unfortunately can't offer free shipping on all our products. This is due to the weight and volume constraints of some of our other lines and means we only offer free shipping on small seed packs and parcels that weigh less than 1kg.

All summer flower bulbs except Dahlia's are expected in stock between 15 August and 10 September. Dahlia bulbs are expected in stock between 15 September and 10 October. If you would like to be notified when the bulbs are in stock, please leave your email address on the in stock reminder on the product page and we will email you as they become available.

Last but not least, a big thank you to all of you who voted for Seeds for Africa as their favourite online store in the SA eCommerce awards!
