IN CASE YOU HAVENT HEARD...
We have just found out that Finglas Road will be closed tomorrow from 9.30 to 2pm, for a memorial service in Glasnevin Cemetery.We would advise customers who are driving to use the Ballyboggan Road entrance to the Industrial Estate as an alternate route. If you arent familiar with it, here are the directions:
Coming from city/Phibsboro:
you will be diverted along Prospect Avenue and onto Botanic Road,
- head for the Botanic Gardens and then
- travel up past the Bon Secours Hospital all the way to the T-junction at the Old Finglas Road.
- Take the left at the lights, cross over the Tolka River
- Take the first right onto Ballyboggan Road.
- Take the first left turn along Ballyboggan Road and then
- left again into the Industrial Estate.
If you are coming from Phibsboro, you can also go via Cabra and the new 'Green Bridge' on Ratoath Road, taking the right-hand turn at the end of the bridge fly-over, and then taking the right-hand turn at the intersection where there is a median for pedestrians in the middle of the road (I think it is the 3rd turn, but am not 100% sure!). Turn left at first intersection and continue along the main road of the Industrial Estate til you see the Market turn to the left.
Coming from Finglas/N2 direction,
- travel down the hill past Clearwater,
- cross over the Tolka River.
- Take the next turn right onto Ballyboggan Road.
- Then take the first left and
- left again to bring you into the Industrial Estate
