August, 2015

Welcome Sue!
We are celebrating the arrival of our new Executive Director, Susan Sippel. After over 11 years as the Executive Director of the Domestic Violence Shelter in Manitowoc, WI, and as a central Wisconsin native, Sue is ready for the challenges ahead and is excited to lead the Family Center in it's mission to end domestic violence and sexual assault in our community. Please join us as we welcome her to the organization!
Annual Report Update:
Please accept our deepest apologies as the United Way of Inner Wisconsin was mistakenly omitted from our Donor list in the 2014 Annual Report which was recently released. The UWIW should have been included under the Gold Donor section. This mistake has been rectified in the electronic version of the document which is available on our website.
Back to School
It's that time of year again! Our Children and Youth Services Coordinator, Lauren, is getting supplies together for the school-age children staying in shelter. The one item we need is pencil pouches! Please donate new or used pencil pouches so we can send the kids to school prepared!
You can also help other families in the community by donating to the Stuff the Bus/Stuff the Desk campaign through the United Way of Inner Wisconsin.
