Hello <<First Name>>,

Sending warm greetings your way and hoping this newsletter finds you well and free of the flu. Well, what a month it has been ! On the evening of 16 July, the Blue Mountains was picture perfect overnight as snow began to fall and blanketed the region right through to Lithgow, Bathurst and Orange. The temperature dropped to -0.8deg and many woke up to a winter wonderland the following morning. Here's what we woke up to at our properties:

Whilst most of us prefer it a little warmer than it currently has been, our bulbs of all sorts are slowly but surely putting on a performance of their own. Daffodils small and large are rearing their majestic heads from their deep slumber as are my beautiful jonquils - the sweetest fragrance is filling the air at present. Camellias are in full bloom with colours aplenty and our tulips wont be far behind. Mother Nature at her best and Spring hasn't even begun!

With the nearing of spring brings our beautiful open gardens - The Leura Garden Festival.  Experience the magic of spring in the Blue Mountains, there's nowhere else like it. Make sure to book your stay at Mountain Whispers to avoid disappointment. As sponsors of the Gardens, all bookings of 3 nights or more during the Festival will receive complimentary entry tickets into the gardens.
It's that time of year when you have your chance to vote for your favourite Blue Mountains business.  A wonderful night was had at the Greystanes Disability Ball and the inaugural Blue Mountains Chocolate Festival was a great success.

Keep warm and don't forget that we're here to make your next Blue Mountains escape truly subliminal.

 Gala Dinner
This year's Gala Dinner was held at the beautiful Hydro Majestic Hotel and was a great success. We were bronze sponsors of the event and very proud to have assisted in raising nearly $45,000 towards Greystanes' goal to build and equip accessible housing for people with disability in the Blue Mountains and Nepean regions. Focusing on people's ability and removing the "disability" is the take home message for us all.
2015 Blue Mountains Business Awards
It's your chance to vote for your favourite Blue Mountains Business in this year's People's Choice Awards. We'd greatly appreciate if you could take the time and either vote for each property - Varenna, Leura Rose, Strawberry Patch and The Gatsby, or Mountain Whispers. The business with the most votes wins this category. Thank you greatly in advance. Please make your vote here:
