I sent an eblast about this a few days ago but it seems it may it have actually made it through so here goes again-- if you've already seen it apologies!

There is a unique happening today at Kean University in New Jersey tonight, Riverdance style dancing from young dancers and musicians to really contemporary music. The project began in 2014 and it's back this year. New Jersey's own Haley Richardson is among the musicians (all-Ireland fiddler!).

The producer writes:
Dancers and musicians will witness first hand, life as a professional performer, experience living away from home, making new friends, immersed in nine days of intense rehearsals and watching a full scale show production come to life! They will learn about performance production and management, the role of a tour manager and dance captain, what to look for in their first touring contract and much much more!
We established this venture to pass down the knowledge and experience that we and others working with us have learned over the years assisting amateur musicians, singers and dancers in getting closer to achieving their dream of being professional performers.
