AUGUST 2015 BULLETIN
Stream Life Exploration for Kids this Saturday!

Join us for Stream Life Exploration in Broomall’s Run this Saturday! Media Providence Friends School science teacher Holly Hoffmann will lead kids as they look for critters in the park. Registration by email is required - a few spaces are still available. Recommended for nature explorers ages 5 and up!

Meet this Saturday at 10:00 at the main entrance on West State Street.

Logistics:
  • *Registration by email is required – attendance is limited to 20 children. RSVP by emailing FriendsoftheGlen@gmail.com by August 6 (today!).
  • Children should be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.
  • Free!
  • Approximate length: 1.5 hours
  • Be prepared for hilly terrain and walking in the stream – wear sturdy shoes that can get wet!
  • Drizzle or shine - if the weather is questionable, we will post here and on facebook by 9:00am Saturday whether we will hold the walk.
  • No dogs please - while we welcome leashed dogs to many of our park events, this time we will be looking for skittish turtles and other pond and stream life, so please leave those cuties at home.
Keep up with us on our website and Facebook, where you can "subscribe" to our events, and "rate" us with a Facebook review!

Enjoy summer in the Park!
