A number of session recordings from the 2015 Vascular Annual Meeting are now available online for free to 2015 VAM attendees. Attendees can gain access to audio recordings synced with PowerPoint presentations by following this link.  

If you attended the Vascular Annual Meeting, you should have received an email with an access code to enter the presentation site.  If you haven't received this email, please contact  Education@VascularSociety.org.  

Access can also be purchased by non-attendees online here ($499).
 







Licensure Tips from the AMA Wire
The AMA Wire has highlighted 5 suggestions for residents obtaining their medical licensure.

One recommendation all residents should keep in mind is to "prepare your documents early, and track your progress in training."

Vascular Surgery History Facts - Balloon Thrombectomy Catheters
"...while taking a 1-year fellowship with Dr. Cranley and his group, [Thomas Fogarty] was finally able to fully evaluate clinically a new balloon catheter...He used the balloon catheter to remove thrombus from the iliac vein and proximal superficial femoral vein through a common femoral venotomy in patients with iliofemoral venous thrombosis and phlegmasia cerulea dolens."
