Annual UWC-NYC Picinc in Central Park is Sunday, August 8th. Come anytime, we'll be there from 1pm to 7pm. 

Location: North side of Turtle Pond. Look for the UWC sign.
Activities: Eating & Drinking! Chatting, Catching up, Making New Friends! Croquet, Frisbee, and whatever else you bring.
What to Bring: Picnic Blankets, potluck picnic items, games, etc.
What we'll have: Lots of Watermelon. Plates, Flatwear, Cups (compostable!)

UWC New York is hosting a beach party at The Rockaways on Saturday September 5th, and you're invited to take part in the festivities, just an hour and a half away from the city! Last year our first "UWC New York Goes to the Beach" was a huge success with 60 attendees so we're having round two! This event is graciously hosted again by Atlantic College Alum Beata Jostmeier, who we can't thank enough! 

There will be a hot tub, food, drinks and the usual one-of-a-kind UWC mixing and mingling! Oh yeah and THE BEACH IS HALF A BLOCK AWAY! We're charging $12 to provide you with some food and drinks ($6 for starving students everywhere)

UWC Day is an annual global celebration of the values and impact of United World College. Events and initiatives are held around the world on and around the day by students, alumni, volunteers and staff, to raise awareness of UWC and its mission for a more peaceful, sustainable future. We highlight the impact UWC has made in your life and the lives of others.

UWC Day in NYC 2015 will be the third annual UWC Day hosted by UWC NYC. We're upping capacity from 110 to 200-plus participants, after strong attendance in past years. The day includes panel talks and presentations from distinguished alumni, updates from UWC education officials, and a chance to mingle and network with fellow UWC alumni in the city.
